Volunteering
Volunteering is a wonderful hands-on way to support Lin Howe, connect with other Lin Howe community members, and make great memories.

For most opportunities, you must be a cleared volunteer. This is a one-time process that takes 1-2 weeks so don't wait. Instructions about how to become cleared can be found here.

Don't see an opportunity that matches your interests? Fill out this form and Mr. Chabola or a parent group will reach out to you when we find a match.

Book Fair
The PTA hosts a Book Fair twice a year. The whole library is themed & decorated making it both fun and magical for the students. Each class visits the Fair during school hours and it is open after school for families. The Book Fair is staffed entirely by parent volunteers, so we’re always looking for more help! The first book fair will be held Oct 6-10.

Fundraising & Sponsorships
Help bridge the gap between the funding we receive from CCUSD and the funding we need to provide the best education and learning environment we can. Work with us to make PTA's Raise Craze, the Fund for Teaching Aides, or business sponsorships a success. No prior experience necessary just a desire to make a difference. Those with sales or communications experience are encouraged to help. Feel free to simply email any business or grant leads.

Room Parent
** you do NOT need to be a cleared volunteer for this **
Being a room parent is what you make of it. The basics are forwarding school news and communications to the class and organizing class gifts. However, you can work with your classroom teacher to make it so much more. You must be a cleared volunteer to go on campus but you can fulfill the basics from home.
