Still have questions?
What is Raise Craze?
Raise Craze is the fundraiser platform the PTA uses to raise money for Lin Howe. Students will register and ask friends and family to support Lin Howe. In return, our students will pay it forward by completing Acts of Kindness. This is a great way to teach our students the importance of kindness and gratitude while raising needed funds!
How much do we need to raise?
Our goals this year are:
-
Raise over $90,000
-
Complete 1,000 Acts of Kindness
-
Achieve 100% student participation
If we reach our goal, we'll SLIME Mr. Chabola on Friday, November 7!
For privacy and security reasons, Raise Craze does not keep registration information from prior years. You will need to Create Your Account when registering this year. Do not use "Already Have An Account?" when registering as the information isn't saved.

It takes less than 4 minutes, so grab your kid(s) & register together:
-
Adult - create account here - https://my.raisecraze.com/A4KQ12FN/
-
Enter your child's info and upload optional photo
-
Student (with adult help) - Select the Acts of Kindness you want to complete over the next 2 weeks
-
Start fundraising: Enter the names & emails of family and friends who might want to support Linwood Howe. (You can register without completing this part. Simply leave it part blank and press the ‘Next’ button. You can log back in to add emails for the 2nd challenge!)
What do students get? What are the challenges?
We'll have 4 classroom challenges throughout the fundraiser: registrations, Acts of Kindness, emails sent and amount raised. All prizes will be earned as a classroom plus a few school-wide prizes. See the incentive flier below for details!

What does Raise Craze support?
Raise Craze is PTA's yearly fundraiser. The money donated goes entirely to the programs and resources the PTA provides for Lin Howe. You can read all about the extensive support the PTA provides here.

Can I send a check?
Yes! Here is how:
-
If you are dropping off the check, please include a note with your child's name, your name and your email. There is a PTA mailbox directly across from the front office door.
-
If you are mailing a check, please email LinHoweRaiseCraze@gmail.com with a photo of the check. We want to make sure your student's class gets credited as soon as possible.
Checks can made out to: Linwood Howe Elementary School PTA
Mailed to: 4100 Irving Place, Culver City, CA 90232

Matching Gifts - how can I do it?
All employer matching gifts will count toward your student's profile and class. Once you have submitted the request to your employer, please forward the confirmation email to LinHoweRaiseCraze@gmail.com (a screenshot is also fine.) We will credit your student's class right away, and add your information to our Matching Gifts tracker.

-
Search for Lin Howe PTA by the EIN 95-6207235. Our PTA shows up as California PTA name in most charity databases and matching gift platforms.
-
If you are able to add a note, please include your student(s) name.
-
Our mailing address: 4100 Irving Place, Culver City, CA 90232

What is the difference between Raise Craze, the Fund for Instructional Aides and CCEF?
See the Donation Guide linked here.

I don't have family or friends who can donate. What else can I do?
Every family has a different budget and network. Completing Acts of Kindness is just as important. Keep reading below for some ideas about how you and your student can make a difference at home, at Lin Howe and in the community.

Please also know that $10 adds up and makes a difference. A meaningful amount to you is an equally meaningful amount to us - every dollar counts.

I want to help with fundraising. Can a business contribute?
We have new sponsorship opportunities that are perfect for businesses. We encourage every family to be part of our community outreach. You can share this sponsorship packet with your dentist, coffee shops, kids gym, etc.

Reach out to LHSeaDragons@gmail.com with any ideas or questions or to get involved more.
