What is a Party Book? It’s a volunteer-driven fundraiser where parents host small, creative social events. Instead of a single formal gala, we have dozens of unique experiences—backyard BBQs, yoga in the park, cocktail classes, or themed kids' parties.

The Guest:
Buys a "ticket" to attend.
The Result:
100% of ticket sales go directly to THE FUND FOR INSTRUCTIONAL AIDES

How much do we need to raise?
Our goal this year is $96,000. That is about $14,000 per grade TK - 4th after we have factored in the sponsorships the committee has raised over the year. We recognize that 5th grade is already planning for life in middle school. As such, we have a smaller goal of $5,000 for them.

What do Instructional Aides do?

Work alongside teachers to reinforce new ideas with our kids

Help small groups or individual students who need a little extra assistance, or acceleration

Work with teachers to keep students engaged, on task and learning
-
Keep our kids safe by helping to supervise non-classroom times like recess or lunch
Basically they are crucial so our wonderful teachers don’t have to do it all alone!

Why aren't you doing one big Gala or event instead?
CCEF is generously acting as our bank account to receive donations and account for them properly. It is not possible for CCEF to also be our expense account or credit card. The Fund does not have a way to buy things, pay for venues, payout reimbursements, etc.. On the plus side, 100% of what you donate goes directly to aide salaries.

Why can't Raise Craze be used toward the aides?
Raise Craze funds our PTA. Culver City Council of PTAs does not allow our school PTA to fund salaries.
